I have a theory that every year, time, actually speeds up. I mean how else can you explain that we're already one-third into the year and more than halfway through our diamond sports already!
Last week, we had to very nice doubleheaders of ILH baseball. Couple of thoughts after seeing them...

This Saturday we have our third (and final for the season) mixed ILH and OIA softball doubleheader.
It's been about three years now that we've been able to have one broadcast and feature teams from both leagues.
I think it's awesome because everyone gets to watch four unique teams from two unique leagues.
The origins of these "mixed" doubleheaders was trying to find a way to have more games from both leagues on OC16. It grew out of two problems. One, a budget that was cut. &nbs... 
This past weekend, was our annual sign that spring is here and winter is out.
Granted in Hawaii, it's not that big a deal in terms of temperatures. But hey, it's a changing of seasons.
For OC16 Sports, we know it's spring time when we leave the gyms and head back out to the diamonds for softball and baseball.
(Baseball will start later this month with some great ILH doubleheaders. So be sure to check our FB page and watch the commercials for matchups.)

I want to thank everyone who emailed or left voicemails with feedback on this past Saturday's HHSAA Wrestling Championships. It sure seems that a good number of you enjoyed the live broadcast - OC16 Sports' first for the event.
We're still waiting to see how the viewership numbers added up to begin a more in-depth analysis.
But I will say we were impressed with the quality of wrestlers, coaching, and officiating.

OC16 loves to add new sports to our lineup of live events.
The Chevron HHSAA State Wrestling Championships will be making its network debut this Saturday and everyone here is excited to bring you the action from the mat!
For year's wrestling has been on the radar for inclusion in our lineup. But our budget situation has precluded adding more games to existing sports, let alone bring in something new.
But this year, it made the cut. Which of course means, something else was cut ...
